Single page site featuring tidy interactions, developed from a flat designer comp. Includes humanised touches such as behaviour on portfolio items, and contact form chat-back.

Built in the browser. Uses the excellent Kirby as a backend (big fan!).

Built using PHP form classes I developed, special attention was paid to making the form friendly and easy to use.

Redesign of my own work for this vet advice site. Included fine tuning the question search, administration baked directly into the front-end.

Dramatically increased the volume of posts, and encouraged micro payments and donations.

I was involved throughout this custom E-commerce project; from initial meetings and specification to wireframes and architecture, through to singlehandedly developing the entire front end.

I'm personally very proud of making a complicated buying process as smooth and error free as possible.

I developed a set of PHP5 classes to enable the rapid production of form-based web applications.

There is a impoverished version of these classes on Github. I'm working on full featured code, but much is heavily integrated with a private codebase.

As well as initial wireframing, I designed the basket & checkout systems and integrated the payment gateway.

I also developed a trade-only version with highly optimised ordering. Sales have been fantastic and the client delighted.

"The Application of Game Mechanics to a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)"

My MSc final project involved the build of a custom VLE and a real world experiment designed to test the effect of game mechanics on participation.

I designed and developed an innovative (it was innovative at the time yeah, I realise it's pretty obvious now) JavaScript driven site for a homeless shelter in York.

I designed and developet the front-end of this recruitment agency website. I think the design has aged pretty well, and is still technically sound.
